  1. Results Broadcasting
    Local radio advertising through Results Broadcasting Network (RBN).

    1. Ads run every hour on the hour on WHTO 106.7 FM The Mountain. These are called ‘weather banner Ads’ and they run half past the hour for 5 seconds.
    2. Every month Harris State Wide joins Hoots on the 15 minute WJNR 101.5 FM Frog Country show ‘In Touch. We use this time to feature and talk about our listings; with a different subject every time (Commercial, Residential, Vacant Land, ETC…)

Website Based Advertising

    1. Our simple and clean website designed and managed by Micheal Rock from websthatrock.com is the cornerstone of our online marketing.
    2. The website allows us to reach potential buyers from all over and have them find MLS listings at the same time.
    3. We are also able to feature our listings first on the homepage, as well as the first separate tab on the main menu after the home page. Pushing our clients’ listings above all is our main goal and should be evident by visiting our site.
  2. Zillow and Realtor.com
    1. Steve and Hugh are both on Zillow and make sure to update it often. If you don’t know already; Zillow is the leading real estate and rental marketplace dedicated to empowering consumers with data, inspiration, and knowledge around the place they call home and connecting them with the best local professionals who can help.
    2. The two of us also use Realtor.com as it is the alternative website to Zillow. Realtor.com has a variety of tools throughout it’s ‘My Home’ dashboard. For years, millions of home shoppers have turned to realtor.com® to find their dream home. Operated by Move, Inc., realtor.com® offers a comprehensive list of for-sale properties, as well as the information and tools to make informed real estate decisions. Today, more than ever, realtor.com® is The Home of Home Search℠.

    1. Facebook is now the modern-day Public Square and has over 2.37 BILLION monthly users. With such a large advertising potential having an active and attractive Facebook page is a must for any modern business.
    2. We post and boost every single one of our listings and make sure to encourage others to share to reach the largest possible audience. Each boosted post reaches up to and may exceed 2000 individual people.
    3. With over 400 page likes and follows and currently #4 in town with page likes we are very proud of the Harris State Wide Facebook account.
  4. List Hub
    1. List with us and have your property exposed on ALL major (home for Sale) websites thanks to List Hub. (SEE ATTACHED EXAMPLE OF LIST HUB WEBSITES). This includes Homes.com, LandWatch, Trulia, over 50 websites!
  5. Chamber Blast
    1. Each month Harris State Wide promotes listing in the Dickinson County Chamber of Commerce email blast. This reaches a multitude of other local small businesses and community members.
  6. Craigslist
    1. When it comes to free marketing craigslist is king in the UP. Harris State Wide posts all residential and vacant land listings to the site because we know that many individuals use craigslist as the go-to place to buy and sell. It’s an easy site to visit on lunch break at work or at home relaxing. We have received many inquiries and leads that led to closings with help from the free advertising.

Print Promotions

  1. The Daily News Listing Showcase
    1. We make sure to display ALL of our listings in the showcase because time after time it proves to be effective.
    2. The Monthly Real Estate & Home Improvement Showcase distributed throughout the Central Upper Peninsula and NE Wisconsin is a valuable tool for the local visibility of our listings because many people still go to pamphlets and magazines to find out what’s for sale in their local area.
    3. The Showcase also provides useful information on home improvement, local markets, and the home buying process making it the ‘Go-To’ for Real Estate.

    1. When needed we run printed ads in the Iron Mountain Daily News.
  3. NorthEast Wisconsin & Upper Michigan Real Estate Booklet
    1. This home improvement/Real Estate booklet is the go-to print advertising in the area.
    2. The booklet is distributed throughout the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and all the way down to Milwaukee Wisconsin.
    3. Harris State Wide takes out a full-page color ad every month. They also rotate the ads to maximize exposure for all of their listings.

Franchise Marketing

  1. State Wide Real Estate, Inc
    Located in Escanaba Michigan; The Franchise promotes all offices through various outlets.

    1. TV 6 Advertising – Over 150 (30 Second Spots) promoting websites that direct buyers to their desired location – covers the majority of the UP.
    2. Woods-n-Water – Generic Ad promoting all 20 plus offices, their contact information, websites, and office addresses. (12-Monthly, 70,000 copies, distributed throughout – Mi, IN, OH).
    3. Northern Michigan Properties – Generic Ad promoting all 20 plus offices, their contact information, websites, and office addresses. (30,000 copies, nine times a year, every four weeks).
